We are home from the hospital and Cailyn is doing ok. We spent 5 days at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore so the doctors could observe and study Cailyn's brainwaves and determine if she really does have epilepsy and unfortunately she does.
We got such conflicting opinions while we were at Children's Hospital in DC so we went looking for another opinion. They should be able to control everything with medicine and I think because she's so young there's still the possibility she'll outgrow this.
So I'm just happy that we now have answers, we found a doctor who is attentive and easy to talk to and we have a plan in place for her medications. She'll still have some rough days but she has been amazing through all this and is still so little she shouldn't remember the hospital stays.
I'll post more details later this week I'm just really tired.
