Almost 6 months old

Next week Cailyn will be 6 months old. It's gone so fast.

The Physical Therapist from Early Intervention came on Monday and re-evaluated Cailyn. She showed us a bunch of exercises to do with her. She's definitely delayed but she's either been sleeping or in a medicated haze since she was 9 days old so I guess it was to be expected. Now that the phenobarbitol is gone we just have to get her to catch up.

She's a very good baby and very easy but she shows little emotion. She really only gets upset when she's hungry. Its nice but she's just extremely agreeable. Everyone always says how good she is and its kind of annoying. She's just so good because she didn't learn how to exert her own will.

Hopefully soon we'll get her sitting up, rolling over and crawling. We go to the neurologist next week and the pediatrician the week after so I'm hoping they will prescribe more frequent Physical Therapy so we can get her caught up sooner.
