Cailyn seems to be doing well. Still no seizures since Wednesday August 20th at 12:30 am. She stopped taking the Ativan on Monday and is still taking .7ml of Kepra and 6 ml of Topamax twice a day. That combination seems to be ok for now. She's sleeping well but not too much and is happy, playful and alert. She had her physical therapy evaluation this week and we are going to start with once a week appointments.
I watched Obama last night and was pretty impressed. A little weirded out by McCain's choice for VP. She is supposed to be super conservative, Pro-Life etc. So that will make the next few months interesting. Both Obama and McCain are supposed to address the AARP convention next week but only via satellite. We'll see if that changes because the 40 million AARP members are a huge commodity
On to other news... Gustav seems to be bearing down on New Orleans and luckily my brother, sister-in-law and Mattie are out of town on vacation. They are visiting Glacier National Park and won't return until Wednesday. Gustav is looking like its coming late Monday night/Tuesday morning. So the worst thing is they could be stuck outside New Orleans but that's preferable to evacuation.
Not much planned for the weekend. Today is Olivia's last day with Cailyn so starting in mid-September we have to find a new babysitter.
I'll be in DC at least 3 days next week for work events and then my parents are possibly coming next weekend.
