Today's Update

Well the last seizure I saw was at 11:20 last night. She's been better again today. A bit more active and a few smiles.

We postponed her pediatric appointment until next week so she's hopefully done with the seizures. She can get a fever from the shots and that could bring on more seizures so we want to make sure this episode is over. She'll have a better chance then.

I also spoke with the neurologist. He got the results from the blood work and we are awaiting the urine results. It sounded like he's got some ideas of what's going on but didn't want to commit to anything until he sees the urine results and her original newborn screening. I swear if they missed something in her original screening someone is going to be in trouble. Especially if she's had to suffer for the past 6 months because of someone's mistake.

Kim brought over dinner today so that was great and so helpful. Isabel and Zachary came over and played too. Zachary and Cailyn were holding hands so that was really cute.

So maybe tomorrow we'll get some more answers.

Cailyn has swim class tomorrow morning and we'll get to see Mickie and go to the Book Party.
