Well it's been an active week for Cailyn's seizures. She had a day when she only had 2 but there have been many more heavy days. A few days she woke up crying and having seizures and they went on for a while.
Our sleep patterns have been really screwy as well. Friday we had to go up to 4 doses of steroids a day because Cailyn's seizures hadn't slowed down. She's supposed to get the doses 6 hours apart and she's been really hungry so she's not sleeping her normal 11-12 hours a night. So either one or both of us is up late or really early to feed her and get in the 4th dose of steroids. Friday night from 2:30-5:30 she was just awake with her eyes really wide, almost like she couldn't go to sleep.
We have a new temporary babysitter starting this week. She'll come for 3 days this week and next and we're still looking for someone on a more permanent basis. Swimming starts and she has physical therapy on Tuesday. She's getting stronger and I'm hoping she'll be sitting up really soon.
We are hopeful her seizures will slow down this week or even stop.
