A nice labor day weekend

We had a nice Labor Day weekend, visit with Aunt Danielle and then Shadi's Wedding was Sunday night. I'll try to post photos later.

Cailyn started having seizures again yesterday morning and they continued this morning as well. We upped her Topamax per the DR order to 7ml. If she still continues after 3 days at that level we go to 8 ml for three days and then repeat that and increase up to 12 ml in 3 day increments. If we get to 12 and she's still having seizures then we have to consider the steroid treatment or the ketogenic diet.

She had her 6 month check up today and got 2 of the 4 vaccines. We are going to go back in a few weeks to get the other 2 vaccines and flu shots for the entire family. We have to try especially hard to make sure Cailyn doesn't get sick or that can bring on more seizures.

I'm in DC the next 3 days. First at our staff meeting and then Friday at the AARP Event. I'll probably bring Cailyn with me as that will just be walking around the convention center and visiting with folks.
