Well we got home from FL on Tuesday really early in the morning--3am. We left my parents a little after 10am and just kept trading off who drove and who slept. Cailyn was great in the car and Elvis behaved himself too. Nothing exciting on this drive home like the air conditioning debacle in July where we had to drive home from NC with no air conditioning. There wasn't a terrible amount of traffic either.
Christmas was very low key. Cailyn unfortunately had a lot of bad seizures so at 430am on Christmas we had to sedate her with Ativan, which meant she slept through most of the day and all the presents. Not exactly how I envisioned her first Christmas, but then again a lot of what I envisioned this year to be has not happened.
We're not doing much the rest of the week, just unpacking, finishing laundry, putting away the Christmas stuff and then we'll put together Cailyn's Little Tikes swing and slide Castle for the living room. This way she'll still have a swing once she outgrows the baby swing. Back to work on Monday and then Tuesday up to Johns Hopkins to regroup with her neurologist. Nothing good on that front. Still no idea what's going on and what possible metabolic disorder she could have that could be contributing to the seizures. We've also found out that budding teeth and the fever that comes with them are not good for Cailyn either. That's what happened on Christmas as well as the week before.
Well here are some pics, enjoy and Have a Happy New Year.

Baby's First Christmas
Apparently the Holidays can get to dogs too.
Bruno was a bit suicidal and threw himself on the tracks of Santa's Village.
