Chompers

Cailyn is up to five teeth now. The first was the bottom middle left, the second was the top left but second one from the middle. Those both came in a little before Christmas. Then the third one from the middle on the top left started to poke out a few weeks ago. I was a bit concerned for her this past Friday because she slept all day (probably 6 of the 8 hours the babysitter was here) and then went to bed regular time too. I hoped she wasn't getting sick and low and behold Saturday morning she had two more teeth pop out, so I guess that's what Friday's hibernation was all about. The two new ones are top left middle and bottom right middle.

We've been trying some new foods here and there. I still want to try black beans but haven't gotten to that yet. She had some orzo yesterday with baby food greenbeans mixed in like sauce, since she can't have butter and I needed to make sure to buy tomato sauce with no cheese in it. She liked that a lot. We also started her with some real milk yesterday, well soy real milk, but real milk. At one they are allowed to go off formula bottles and are supposed to be eating lots of solid meals. I'm not sure when we'll make that transition with Cailyn. She's still not using her hands, so she's not feeding herself. I asked her doctor and she said we may want to stick with formula for a few extra months. Now that there is no more constipation issues she seems willing to eat a lot more as well.

Can't believe she'll be 1 in two weeks. It's gone so fast.
