turns out that they are bad for Cailyn too. We went to the allergist and got confirmation that she is allergic to milk and eggs. They tested for avocado, which was my other suspicion but that came up negative. She still won't be eating any avocado any time soon.
In October she'll have a blood test done again to test the levels of allergy and see where she is. She could be free of the milk allergy but it would still be 3-5 years before we could give her milk to make sure the allergy didn't come back again. Milk and egg are the most common with kids and the ones that they usually outgrow. So maybe by kindergarten Cailyn will be able to have a real grilled cheese sandwich or some lasagna.
Tomorrow is my birthday (the big 3-5) and I'm off from work again. Going to the pool with some of the Mommies and Babies and then take out for dinner with Curt and Cailyn at the Special Needs playground, so the girl can enjoy the swings again. Not much else going on. Just doing some summer cleaning and getting donation items ready again. Hopefully in the next month we'll get Cailyn's medical/exercise equipment and the two pieces we are ordering will take up some room. I'm off Wednesday as well but Cailyn has PT and then we have an appointment with a Social Worker in Leesburg so the middle of the day is shot.
