We went to the National Zoo today. Cailyn was awake for most, only napped an hour. She's also 19 months old now.
We caught her napping on her tummy the other day. Haven't seen her roll all the way over in the crib, just on harder surfaces like her play and mat area on the floor.
There is "stroller parking" outside all the buildings at the Zoo, so you are supposed to leave them outside and make the kids walk or carry them. Well Cailyn is still not walking and she's like a 26 pound bag of potatoes with the fact that she won't hold on or sit nicely on your hip.
Here was Curt's solution, he carried her in this into two buildings she had just woken up from her nap.
Curt's a tall guy, 6'3" and Cailyn just looks so funny with her long body hanging off Daddy.
The sock on her hand is because she's been teething and chewing on her finger again.
It got too awkward to carry her like this, plus she has now hit the weight limit for this carrier, so we just brought the stroller in to the rest of the exhibits and told the staff at the door she's disabled but too small for a wheelchair. That worked out fine.
