Eventually she'll know

I'm enjoying this time with Miranda and how much she cherishes her big sister.

The best is when Cailyn giggles and it makes Miranda giggle too. Miranda doesn't know that Cailyn's giggle is the result of a seizure, she just has joy in her heart. Some day she'll understand that Cailyn is different.

I tell my friends that their kids will be better people for being friends with someone like Cailyn and I know this too will shape Miranda and make her empathetic and accepting of people of all abilities.

Hero of the Week

I'm trying to blog more and branch out into more than just reporting on our Family. I'm going to try and add some inspiration to the blog as well to keep things uplifting.

The Hero of the Week is Hailey Scheinman and her amazing dedication to her sister. I can only hope Miranda will be so accepting and loving of her sister when she's old enough to understand.
