Yesterday I had another OB appointment and it went really well. My blood pressure is good, my blood sugars are good (so no diabetes), my blood work was good and Burger's heartbeat was good too. I go back in one month on Dec. 18 and then every 2 weeks until 36 weeks and then every week. So if all goes well I only have 6 doctor's appointments left.
We also had our second birth class yesterday. We are learning a lot. Watched a video and practiced breathing techniques last night. We've already practiced some breathing and relaxation in my Prenatal Yoga class so I have a good understanding of that.
The other people in our class are weird though. No one talks or asks questions of the instructor. She asked for a volunteer for a backrub and I volunteered because I felt bad for her. Its like the pain you see when a stand up comic bombs.
Me volunteering also meant Curt volunteering so he was not too happy to have to go up in front of the class. I just had to sit on an exercise ball and he in a chair holding my hands to make sure I didn't fall as the teacher demonstrated a few different massage techniques. My hands were pretty white though from being clenched so tightly.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and we are going out to the Scarborough's Farm to celebrate. Very relaxed, a little food, a little football, a little Wii and Elvis playing with two kids.
We are not travelling for Christmas either so that's nice. I did so much travelling in the summer and fall that I'm glad to be staying around home.
