Enough Already

At this point its just annoying that Cailyn is still having seizures. Let this poor baby rest already.

Last night and this morning she had more seizures even though she's being sedated on the Ativan. She's still got a little sniffely nose so I guess being sick is keeping her seizure threshold lowered even though she's hasn't had a fever since Friday morning.

I spoke with the on call Neurologist last night at Johns Hopkins and she said to continue the Ativan through Monday morning and at that point we'll discuss what to do with her regular doctor. That will be almost a week since we started the medicine. We also now have to go back up to the 5ml of Topamax twice a day.

She's resting now and I'm going to try to get some chores done around the house today.
