Cailyn's Equestrian Training

As Curt calls it, Cailyn started Equestrian Training today aka Horseback Riding Therapy. We are hopeful this will help build her core strength and she will be better able to hold up her head and possibly sit upright. She'll go now through September so fingers crossed this goes well. She tolerated it like a champ.


The hardest part for Cailyn will be holding up her, already too heavy head, with the helmet.


Cailyn's amazing therapist is on the right in the white shirt. She has been treating Cailyn for more than 2 years and she is awesome. She is always very positive and encouraging with Cailyn and really talks to HER like a person. She worked over the weekend to create this piece for Cailyn to drape over while on the horse. It's a gym bag with foam pieces in it and then it's strapped to the saddle too. Cailyn did a great job picking up her head and worked so super hard. So proud of our girl.
