3:30 am

This might be the first time I've been really blah about one of the nurses treating Cailyn. Usually the nurses are awesome!!! They answer questions, help make her comfortable and are generally saints. This one tonight is just blah. She's a bit rough around the edges and I wanted to smack her when she woke up Cailyn at 3:30 am because she decided to raise the side of the crib all the way up. Sometimes when Cailyn is startled out of sleep like that it brings on a seizure and of course this did. She had a humdinger that lasted 12 minutes. It looked normal, the length was just long and I think that's because she was sound asleep; finally sound asleep.

Come on, the girl can't roll over or sit up or stand, there is NO possibility she's falling out of the crib. We had the sides partially up so it was just annoying.

Now we are both up and only one of us is happy and bubbly about it. I did get another bottle into her so that's good but a few more hours sleep would be nice as well.

I always thought it was stupid that the Disney channel started broadcasting overnight, I mean aren't these kids supposed to be in bed. I think they used to stop and have infomercials. Now I'm glad they changed, even though some of the shows are so stupid, it's one way you know Cailyn is feeling better because she's able to focus on that little box of light. She's focusing on me, Curt and the nurses and doctors too but this is just another way to see she's getting better.
