Fun 4th of July, B'days and Cailyn's MRI

Well I'm behind on blogging but hopefully this will catch it up.

We had a fun 4th of July in PA. We visited my Aunt and Uncle in the Poconos. My parents came up from FL and will stay until the weekend.

Cailyn had a bad weekend with lots of bad seizures. We had to finally sedate her and she was pretty much out of it for 12 hours. She was really good after it was over and has only had two seizures since Monday. We will probably be adding in a 3rd seizure med shortly. She needed to get some bloodwork done beforehand. Today my Mom, Cailyn and I headed to Hopkins and Cailyn had her 3rd brain MRI. I will probably hear from the neurologist over the next few days to add in the 3rd med and also with the results on the MRI. They did the test to see if she's a candidate for brain surgery to stop her seizures. I'm trying not to think about it because I think it's a long shot. The other times she had this test it showed nothing so we'll just have to wait and see.

Yesterday was my b'day and we went to Benihana to celebrate, yummy meal and good show as always. Saturday is my Mom's b'day and we are going to go shopping tomorrow since I haven't gotten a present for her yet.

Tomorrow is my last day of vacation. I really want to finish painting and putting our bathroom back together tomorrow but not much else planned for the weekend. Hoping to relax.
